Prarambh-2026, a flagship outreach event on the Income Tax Act, 2025, was organized by the Embassy of India, Paris in collaboration with CCIFI, with EY as Knowledge Partner. Shri Bhaskar Goswami, Joint Secretary (FT&TR-II), CBDT, delivered the keynote address, followed by presentations and expert-led discussions on India’s tax reforms, investment facilitation measures, and opportunities under GIFT City. The event highlighted India’s commitment to a transparent, investor-friendly tax regime and further strengthened India-France economic engagement by bringing together French corporates, investors, tax professionals, and members of the Indian diaspora in France.
