The Outreach Programme “PRARAMBH 2026” on the Income-tax Act, 2025 and Income-tax Rules, 2026 was successfully organized on 20 June 2026 at Arya Samaj Auditorium, New Delhi, by the Office of Pr. CIT-10, Delhi in association with the Safdarjung Enclave Chapter of NIRC of ICAI. Held under the guidance of Smt. Deepali Chandra, CCIT-1, New Delhi, and Shri Deepak Tiwari, Pr. CIT-10, the programme aimed to facilitate stakeholder awareness and a seamless transition to the new tax framework. Expert sessions by departmental officers and tax professionals highlighted key legislative changes and their practical implications. A live demonstration of the Kar Saathi Chatbot showcased innovative taxpayer facilitation initiatives. Nearly 100 Chartered Accountants, tax professionals, businessmen and taxpayers participated, reaffirming the Department’s commitment to taxpayer outreach, capacity building and stakeholder engagement.
